The sale of the Corpus Christi Parish property last year forced us to look for a new location for our North Center where we could continue to provide services for the North city and county areas.
Our
prayers were answered with the property we found at 1831 New North Florissant
Rd. in Florissant, MO. As with our Jennings location we found a building with
two large sunny activity rooms to provide the flexibility of two separate
activities running simultaneously. The elderly participants enjoy Room 1,
where quiet activities such as crafts, reading the paper, or participating
in motor skill games, word games and "chair" exercises are daily
events. The younger participants gather in Room 2, where life lessons such
as reading, math, hygiene or even baking cookies are given. Everyone meets
in the dining room for meals and snacks.
