When families ask, "What is your center like?" site manager Kendra
Fitzgerald replies, "Here at Overland, we provide a safe and friendly environment.
We treat each participant with respect. We realize that each person in our
life can teach us something about ourselves. We are all like mirrors reflecting
ourselves to each other."
The staff and the participants enjoy the renovated facilities in the All Souls Parish School building. The two activity rooms, a game room and a lunch room, provide plenty space for two acitvities to run simultaneously. When it is "party time", such as the Luau party, everyone comes together.
